1. Le Pescadou a chique and modern fish restaurant with a friendly ambiance. Everything from dishes to service was 'quite good', yet not mind blowing. 2. Salle du Jour is the excellent, intimate fish restaurant in the Jordaan. Only seasonal fish dishes are served, ensuring all is fresh and eco-friendly. The service is unDutch attentive and personal, creating a pleasant ambiance. This place is worth a visit. Salle du Jour, Prinsenstraat 10, T. 428 24 55 €€
3. RED - At the corner of le quartier antique you will find a modern and stylinshly decorated restaurant: RED. The chefs are specialized in two dishes: lobster and tournedos. These are also the only items on the menu, apart from the side dishes. The food is good, may be more chefs in Amsterdam should stick to 2 dishes? The waiters are friendly; they even welcomed us after midnight and asked the kitchen to prepare two steaks for us. (Kitchen normally closes at midnight). Plan to arrive before midnight? Better make a reservation, as it's often busy here.
